Environmental Commitment

The reason we use premium organic ingredients is simple: they offer superior quality, taste, nutritional value and freshness, while supporting the preservation of sustainable agriculture. Sustainable agriculture promotes the healthy cultivation of soil, crop rotation and irrigation and is free of harmful pesticides, chemical fertilizers, steroids and hormones. Our promotion of sustainable farming through partnerships with organic farmers, most of whom are local, contributes to a safer, richer environment.

Our organic goodies aren't the only green element to our gift boxes, however. The packaging is Earth-friendly, too! Our boxes are derived from 100% Post Consumer Content  and can be recycled or reused as new gift boxes or containers for office supplies or potpourri. The paper used to protect our delicious cookies comes from recycled material and can be reused or recycled as well. Our cellophane bags are biodegradable and made out of cornstarch, and the packing peanuts, also made from cornstarch, will dissolve in water.

We are also committed to making our facility and operations work in harmony with nature. From our energy efficient light bulbs and eco-friendly cleaning supplies to our printed material that is on 30% post-consumer content recycled paper, we are always looking for new ways to lighten our environmental footprint.
